What we collect
- Contact details you share with us — name, phone number, email (if provided), and delivery or venue address.
- Order and event details — items requested, headcount, dates, dietary or allergy notes.
- Messages you send us via WhatsApp, email or our website form.
- Basic technical information automatically logged by the web server — IP address, browser type, pages visited — to keep the site running smoothly.
How we use it
- To confirm, prepare and deliver your order.
- To quote and coordinate catering events.
- To contact you about your order when we need to.
- To improve our service, menu and operations.
- To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Delivery partners, where we use external riders, strictly for fulfilment of your order.
- Payment processors, for catering invoices and deposits, when applicable.
- Authorities and regulators, if required by law.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for up to three (3) years for accounting and tax compliance. Marketing contacts are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold on you, ask us to correct or update it, or ask us to delete it (subject to any legal retention requirements). Write to rln@laksanafoods.com for any of the above.
Children
Our services are intended for customers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

These Terms govern your use of laksanafoods.com and any order or catering arrangement with Laksana Foods Private Limited. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these Terms.
What we do
Laksana Foods operates a FSSAI-licensed multi-cuisine cloud kitchen in Perungudi, Chennai. We provide:
- Delivery and takeaway orders — coordinated via WhatsApp or phone, prepared and delivered across Chennai.
- Catering for corporate clients and events — daily canteens, office events, weddings, receptions and family functions.
Placing an order
Orders are confirmed over WhatsApp, phone or email. An order is treated as confirmed only after we acknowledge it in writing.
Pricing
Menu prices are indicative and may change without notice. The price for your specific order is confirmed at the time of ordering. Catering quotes are valid for seven (7) days unless stated otherwise.
Payment
- Delivery and takeaway — cash on delivery, UPI, or any other digital option we may offer from time to time.
- Catering — typically requires a deposit on confirmation and the balance before or on the day of the event. Specifics are set out in each catering quote.
Delivery
We aim to deliver within a reasonable time based on location and order size. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather and other factors outside our control.
Food safety and allergies
We cook in a kitchen that handles multiple cuisines and ingredients. If you have a serious allergy, please tell us before ordering so we can advise what we can and cannot accommodate. We cannot guarantee that dishes are free of trace amounts of any allergen.

Our content
The site, logo, menu descriptions and photography on laksanafoods.com belong to Laksana Foods Private Limited. You may view it for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, reproduce or re-use it without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laksana Foods Private Limited’s liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.

Cancellation & Refund

Delivery and takeaway orders
You can cancel a delivery or takeaway order before we begin preparation. Once preparation has started, the order cannot be cancelled as ingredients have already been used.
Catering events
Because ingredients and labour for catering are planned well in advance, we follow a tiered policy based on how close to the event day the cancellation happens:
- Seven (7) or more days before the event — full refund of deposit, less a ₹500 administrative fee.
- Three (3) to six (6) days before — 50% of the deposit refunded.
- Less than three (3) days — no refund, as ingredients and staffing are already locked in.
Date changes are treated as new bookings at our discretion and may not always be possible.
If something went wrong
If you are not satisfied with your order — quality, quantity, or anything else — please contact us at rln@laksanafoods.com or +91 97900 99926 within two (2) hours of delivery so we can investigate and make it right. Beyond that window, we are not able to reliably verify what was delivered.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within seven (7) to ten (10) working days.

Where we deliver
We deliver across Chennai, with main coverage in:
- Perungudi
- OMR (Old Mahabalipuram Road) corridor
- Thoraipakkam
- Velachery
- Adyar
- Thiruvanmiyur
For other areas, please ask us on WhatsApp — we may still be able to arrange delivery, particularly for catering orders.
Timings
Our kitchen operates seven (7) days a week, cooking fresh every day. Regular delivery orders typically take 30 to 60 minutes depending on distance and order size. Catering is scheduled at an agreed time, usually with at least 24 hours’ notice for smaller orders and longer lead times for larger events.
Fees
Delivery fees, where applicable, depend on distance and order size and are confirmed at the time of ordering. Free delivery may apply to orders above a threshold we announce from time to time.
Missing or delayed orders
If your order has not arrived within ninety (90) minutes of confirmation, please call +91 97900 99926 and we will track it down immediately.
